Parts List and Materials of Construction
In order to improve serviceability and elevate manufacturing tolerances, pumps within the 3700i family use a replaceable venturi insert. The geometry of this insert is similar to the machining contained in earlier editions of the venturi-style 3700 pumps. The removeable nature allows for fine tuning of the pump performance and optimizes effieciency. This insert can also be replaced during an overhaul to restore pump performance to as new codition, and the pump can even be re-rated with a simple insert change.
